YinzMart assists local Pittsburgh small businesses by providing access to simple tools that enable vendors to quickly handle sales that go along with an online marketplace. 

YinzMart.com is built different from the other ‘global platforms’. YinzMart.com is meant to be local. We only allow small businesses from the Pittsburgh region to setup a shop on this platform.

We want locals, who take pride in supporting small businesses, to know that they money they spend is going to a small business owner located somewhere in the greater Pittsburgh region.

Meet Jurgen, the Pittsburgh Visionary Behind YinzMart.com

Hi, I’m Jurgen

I grew up in most of the hockey rinks around Pittsburgh. That was when my mother started making t-shirts at our tournaments. I enjoyed helping her during those times. 

Pretty soon, she started making uniforms for our teams, and eventually opened her own print shop! 

I started going there, almost daily, in middle school. My mother has taught me everything I know about making clothes.

The only thing she struggled with was making a website!

For me, making a website started as a way I thought I could help her. As I got better at building websites, I began to see it as a solution for lots of people just like my mother!
